Taboo Absinthe Drink Recipes
Recipe Name: Absinthe Suisse
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Taboo Absinthe
1/2 oz white Creme de Menthe
2 tbsp orange juice
IceDirections:
In a martini shaker filled with ice, combine the ingredients and shake vigorously until frothy and well blended. Strain into a tall chilled martini glass or tumbler and serve.

2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Dry Vermouth
1/4oz Taboo absinthe

In a cocktail shaker, combine gin, vermouth and Taboo. Shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with an onion stuffed olive.

Fill a tall glass with Ice. Added Taboo and the lemon juice. Top with lemon soda and garnish with a mint sprig

Ingredients:
1 part Taboo Absinthe
1 part Bailey's

Recipe Name: Red Ribbon
Ingredients:
2oz Grand Marnier
1/2oz Taboo Absinthe
3 Dashes Bitters
Directions:
Chill a rocks glass with ice and water
In a mixing glass, combine Grand Marnier and the Bitters.
Add ice and stir gently for 2-3 mins
Empty chilled rocks glass and add TABOO
Swirl Taboo in glass so it covers the entire inside of the glass
Empty any remaining Taboo and strain the Grand Marnier and Bitters into the glass
Create a large cheek of fresh orange peel and trim out the pith
Light the zest and squeeze it across the surface of the drink creating a small flame.
Rub the oily peel around the rim of the glass and drop into the drink.

Recipe Name: Strawberries Revival
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. single-malt Scotch
1/2 oz. Taboo Absinthe
1/2 oz. cane syrup
1 healthy dash Angostura bitters
Squeeze of half a lemon
1 1/2 fresh strawberries
Directions:
Muddle the strawberries in a mixing glass before adding all other ingredients. Shake vigorously and pour into a glass.

Recipe Name: Sazerac (Classic)
Ingredients:
1 oz cognac
1 oz rye
¼ oz absinthe
2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
1 dash Angostura bitters
dash of simple syrup
Directions:
Stir all but Absinthe with ice
strain into a chilled Taboo Absinthe-rinsed rocks glass
garnish with lemon twist (if desired)

Recipe Name: Sazerac - Okanagan Spirits Version
Ingredients:
1 oz Canados Apple Brandy
1 oz Old Italian Prune
¼ oz Taboo Absinthe
2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
1 dash Angostura bitters
dash of simple syrupDirections:
Stir all but Taboo Absinthe with ice
strain into a chilled Absinthe-rinsed rocks glass
garnish with lemon twist (if desired)

1 oz Bourbon
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
3 dashes Angostura Bitters

Ingredients:
1 Part Cranberry Juice
1 Part Orange Juice
1 Part Taboo AbsintheDirections:
Mix and serve.

Ingredients:
1 oz Taboo Absinthe
1/2 oz Cointreau
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Fresh Orange Juice
1/2 oz Fresh Egg White
1/4 oz Rich Simple Syrup
1/4 oz Campari
Star Anise Pod
Directions:
Pour the lemon juice, orange juice and egg white into a cocktail shaker. Using a blender ball, dry shake the mixture until well combined. Add the Absinthe, Cointreau and simple syrup. Shake again, vigorously, and then strain into a martini glass. Slowly and carefully pour the Campari down the side of the glass so that it sinks below the Absinthe mixture. Garnish by floating the star anise pod on top and serve.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Taboo Absinthe
Lemon and Lime sparkling soda
(San Pelligrino Limonata or Santa Cruz Lemon and Lime)
lime wedge.Directions:
Fill a highball glass with ice. Add 1 1/2 oz. Taboo Absinthe and top with Lemon and Lime sparkling soda. Garnish with a lime wedge.
Recipe Name: Absinthe Mojito
Ingredients:
1oz Taboo Absinthe
1oz freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tablespoons sugar
10 mint leaves
1 lime rind
Club sodaDirections:
In a glass muddle lime juice, sugar, mint leaves and lime rind. Add absinthe and stir. Fill glass with crushed ice and top off with club soda.
